Captain Ethan, Lindsay, and Marianne all went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. Annie and I had been planning to elope in ME for some time, and are both so grateful to have come across Just Banded. The entire experience, from initial planning through stepping off the boat, all went flawlessly. The boat was meticulously cleaned and decorated (thank you Lindsay for the amazing floral arrangements!). Marianne truly went the extra mile to get to know Annie and I, and tailor the ceremony to fit our style. Captain Ethan was the icing on the cake, giving us a tour of the Popham waters, and putting us on tons of lobster that made a 5-star wedding feast. Can't wait to plan for our one year anniversary with them! I highly recommend eloping on Just Banded!!!

“Coastal Maine Dream Wedding Adventure”
Wow... where do we begin? Our hearts were filled with joy as we embarked on this luxury coastal Maine elopement adventure, framed by the natural beauty of islands with lighthouses and lush forests, against the stunning backdrop of the sea. We are truly grateful to have had the opportunity to truly live the magic of our wedding day in such a unique and unforgettable manner. What made this experience truly special was our decision to "elope" aboard a lobster boat, exchanging vows amidst the vast expanse of the ocean, indulging in the thrill of lobster catching, and plunging into the deep blue waters before enjoying a delightful lobster feast on the beach beneath the radiant glow of the full moon.

I actually was not the one getting married on the lobster boat, it was some dear friends of ours. They presented the idea to all of us a few months back and I was a bit perplexed at what the experience would be and it would look like. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined what Marianne, Captain Ethan, and Lindsay put together.

First, the florals by Lindsay, OH MY GOSH. To die for. She has such an eye for arrangement and they truly felt like an homage to the bride and her vibes and also to the Maine wilderness. She is truly a do it all woman - helping Captain Ethan and Marianne, rowing all of us in and out of Seguin Island, and arranging the florals and charcuterie. She is the COOLEST. Second, Marianne’s officiating was second to none. Just listening to her, I felt like she truly knew Addison and Rose (the bride and groom) and wanted to make this day as memorable and love filled as possible. She (and the couple) had me in tears with her story telling and their love.
Third, Captain Ethan was such an awesome sport! An amazing story teller, great boat driver, and willing to let the couple and all friends and family feel included in the lobster fishing. We banded lobsters, hauled traps, learned about notching, threw ones back, and even got some shark stories!!

Not enough words can explain how amazing this trio and company is and anybody would be lucky to book with them. Much love from Kentucky ❤️

“The only better feeling than getting the most perfect result for "lobster boat elopement Maine" as a Google search is the amazing experience we had getting married with Just Banded. From our very first conversation with Ethan about our crazy idea to get married on a lobster boat and surprise our families waiting for us on the dock to celebrate what they thought would be just an engagement, he was so enthusiastic about making our dream come to life and had so many helpful suggestions. Ethan talked us through the Popham Beach area and what the day would be like and fielded our questions and less practical ideas seriously but guided us to a perfect day. We really liked that she focuses on local and seasonal blooming plants and wholly trusted her vision. It was amazing how she transformed a working lobster boat into a place that feels like a wedding and something we didn't even realize would be so special for the day. There are so many details from both the boat trip of a lifetime and the weeks/months of planning, but the common thread throughout is how conscientious and kind the Just Banded team was and how genuinely excited they were to celebrate with us. We couldn't have imagined a better experience for our wedding day.”

“Where do I even begin? For starters, I am a wedding planner and had been engaged for almost 2 years. I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted to do but 100% knew that I wanted to elope. When I presented the idea of getting married on a boat, my fisherman husband was totally on board. Captain Ethan was hands down the best to work with, he's knowledgable and down for the adventure. He tracks the weather, chats with you about timing, and makes it very clear that this is your wedding day and he will do all that he can to make it the best day, which he does just that. The flowers were so fresh and held up so well all day long! We had Marianne as our officiant who is one of the best I've ever met. Her presence is calming and nurturing, she took the time to check in with us individually to see how we felt and personalize the ceremony to our story. She cares to know about your story and build your ceremony around that. All in all, the experience was the best and I truly wish I could repeat it over and over. Ethan, Lindsay, and Marianne have such a special place in our hearts and we cannot thank them enough for making our day so special.”
